Beaver Scouts are the youngest section of the Scouting family, aged 6 - 8 years.

Beaver Scouts meet in colonies, of which there are 16 around the Canterbury, Whitstable and Herne Bay District.

A Beaver colony can vary in size from 18 up to 30 young people.

Our activities are based around making things, outdoor activities, singing, playing games, going out on visits, investigating nature, listening to stories, learning how to be safe and most importantly, making new friends. Each Colony will provide a varied balanced programme for the young people to engage in.

Beaver Scouting is very popular and we recommend you add your child to the joining list as soon as you can.
